Four simple qualities decide how a diamond looks, sparkles, and lasts. Here is what each one means, in plain language.

How it sparkles

Cut

Cut is not the shape. It is how well the diamond is shaped and polished. A great cut returns light to your eye as fire and brilliance. We set only Excellent and Ideal cut grades.

How white it looks

Colour

Diamonds are graded D (completely colourless) to Z (light yellow). The closer to D, the rarer and whiter the stone. IMPHALA only sets D, E or F, the rarest and whitest range.

How clean it is inside

Clarity

Tiny natural marks inside a diamond. Graded FL (flawless) down to I3 (visible flaws). We work within FL to VS2. All are eye-clean, with no marks visible without a loupe.

How much it weighs

Carat

Carat is the diamond's weight, not its size. 1 carat equals 0.20 grams. Bigger carat means a larger, more valuable stone - choose from 0.30ct to 5.00ct on every IMPHALA piece.

Product And Authenticity

Chemically, physically and optically identical to a mined diamond — the only difference is origin. A lab-grown diamond is grown in a controlled lab environment over a few weeks, rather than formed underground over millions of years.

Yes. Every IMPHALA diamond is certified by the International Gemological Institute (IGI), the world's leading authority on lab-grown diamond grading. Your certificate arrives with the piece, recording cut, colour, clarity, carat and a unique laser-inscribed report number

Solid 925 sterling silver, finished with luxury-grade rhodium plating for a bright, tarnish-resistant white-metal finish. The rhodium layer is what gives the lasting shine — it's a finish, not a base metal substitute.

The rhodium plating slows tarnishing significantly, but like all fine silver jewellery, it will dull gradually with wear. Store your piece in its pouch when not worn, keep it away from perfume, chlorine and moisture, and wipe with a soft cloth after wear.

Store each piece separately in its pouch to avoid scratching. Avoid perfume, chlorine and harsh chemicals — put jewellery on last, take it off first.

Returns And Exchanges

Take 7 days from delivery to decide. If a piece isn't right, return it for a full refund or exchange. Engraved and bespoke pieces are non-returnable. Beyond the return window, IMPHALA offers lifetime exchange against any piece toward a new one.

Yes. Within the 7-day window, exchange for a different size or design at no extra cost, subject to price difference for higher-value pieces. Outside that window, IMPHALA's lifetime exchange policy lets you trade in any piece toward a new one, anytime.

Shipping And Delivery

Every order ships in discreet, unbranded outer packaging with no indication of contents, and is fully insured door to door with signature required on receipt.

Ready-to-ship pieces are hand-delivered within 10-12 business days domestically. Bespoke and made-to-order pieces follow a 3-4 week timeline.

Every shipment is insured for its full value. In the rare event of loss or damage, reach out to our concierge with your order number and we'll replace or refund the piece — no cost to you.

Yes, resizing is complimentary on all rings. Send your piece to our atelier within 7 days for a free resize or exchange for the correct size.
